New Shoes And Stance
I had the original wheels for quite sometime before I made the jump to spend some money on wheels. One thing I wanted was to make sure I didn’t spend too much on the set-up as I also needed rubber. I have always been keen on weight and function of parts. So i had wanted some lightweight wheels. Naturally the price of such items is starting at about $1000usd…..unless I bought them used.
Also around the same time Espilar springs were installed.
The sizes are 18×8.5 in the front and 18×9.5 rear . The tires are 235/40 front and 255/40 rear, all with out spacers.
The rear seems to fit somewhat snug
This set-up is promising in the future events I will attend…fingers crossed
Symphony In The Making
After the trip it seemed it was missing something. The whole time the new car to me seemed to have no soul. Maybe it was the fact it was new and not broken in yet or braking causing the history blood, sweat, and tears. Like most, funding was limited and made do with what I had in collecting parts new and used….and even tools…
When on a budget, sometime the need to think outside the tool-box is needed, as funds for tools themselves can expensive.
The muffler section was also modified as was the complete mid section of the piping. The outside looked as if it were not modified, until that is, it was started up….
As a whole the system seemed to awaken the character of the car and yes performance is always a plus. Not bad considering all was to be had for a couple of Franklins and the system was from headers back. This was not the end for more was still to come….til next time
The 350z Adventure Begins
Upon purchasing the 350z, but not 3 months later, I felt it was due for a road trip. So a ring to a friend and off we went………after the fill up that is
It was not long until the signs of our location was appearant.
Any guesses???
Now nothing compares to the feeling of letting go of your fears and coming out unscathed. It can be taking out your prized vehicle to a track day and bringing it home in one piece to …..

Now we didnt do it because we talked ourselve into it nor did we think it was a “breeze”. Fact is we walked up 18 flights of industrial sized steps with about 35lbs of harness gear at our ankles and thighs. We did it because the water fountain and benches were now down there…
The thing that attracts me to this unique way of life is how no matter the price, condition, aura of a car the owner will take his/her vehicle and use it for what it was made for….to drive.
