As I have stated before, “people use their cars as a canvas to do work on”. Nothing makes my eyes bulge more than observing someone who built and modified their car for themselves……case in point
To start off with nothing and make due with what you have. That usually goes through the head of most petrol heads, at least until funds are availible. This applies to all walks of life as Kato Wataru of Liberty Walk in Japan would agree on. He started with a cheap used skyline in his early years and just fiddle with it. Now he creates the most amazing exotic car pieces the world has seen. And he does it all to cater to himself and has no problems cutting fenders on a Lambo. To pick his brain and see his collection over the years Maiham-Media.com went to go visit him…….
I had the original wheels for quite sometime before I made the jump to spend some money on wheels. One thing I wanted was to make sure I didn’t spend too much on the set-up as I also needed rubber. I have always been keen on weight and function of parts. So i had wanted some lightweight wheels. Naturally the price of such items is starting at about $1000usd…..unless I bought them used.
Also around the same time Espilar springs were installed.
The sizes are 18×8.5 in the front and 18×9.5 rear . The tires are 235/40 front and 255/40 rear, all with out spacers.
The rear seems to fit somewhat snug
This set-up is promising in the future events I will attend…fingers crossed
