1990’s GTR time trials

I managed to find my external storage device that has old Japan 400m sprints of different tuning companies of the 1990s.  I thought I would share some of these over the next month or so.  To see it on you tube go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1eveTj7X_0

Hakosuka Symphony

The Hakosuka is a sought after car not only for its performance and appeal.  But the history that goes behind it.  It has ties to the current GTR and all those in between.  When I was filtering youtube for s30 drag race videos I came across a channel by the name of Zakuroya.  In the video it shows a Hakosuka going to work on the track.  The noise of it just being intoxicating.  The driver is Koichi Tanaka and the car and its owner can be found on facebook https://www.facebook.com/hakosukaGC10  .  The tuning shop for making this car is Auto Service Kishimoto http://www.as-kishimoto.com/  Little is know of the car but from what I can make out is has and L series engine stoked and bored to 3.1 and 50 Solex carburetors!!!  Please visit the websites to gain further knowledge of this build, owner, and shop….without further a due

This looked like a beast and that it could set some good times on a track.  It appeared to be a 930 slant nose

Liberty Walk

To start off with nothing and make due with what you have.  That usually goes through the head of most petrol heads, at least until funds are availible.  This applies to all walks of life as Kato Wataru of Liberty Walk in Japan would agree on.  He started with a cheap used skyline in his early years and just fiddle with it.  Now he creates the most amazing exotic car pieces the world has seen.  And he does it all to cater to himself and has no problems cutting fenders on a Lambo.  To pick his brain and see his collection over the years Maiham-Media.com went to go visit him…….
