Mister Two meet Mrs. M

There is nothing like the anticipation of looking for THE car, finding it, testing it, then finally buying it.  I was lucky enough to encounter a young lady who was in the market for a new vehicle.  Not just any new vehicle mind you but something catering to her free spirit.  She wanted me to tag along to the test driving session.  We arrive and see this yellow mr2.

Now at first glance one would say it needed some work and would say this is a project car.  Well Mrs. M said “Lets take it for a test run”…this is suppose to be a daily car she is shopping for mind you as she has obligations that do require traveling.  This car needed new tires as the steel was showing through the tires, needed a new battery and or alternator, interior, new paint, every fluid replaced, windshield, and that’s just from me looking at it.

When they returned I could see nothing but a huge smile as the boost bug had hit her.  Yes if one did not notice in the pics above this is a n/a mr2 but with an engine swap.  Seller and buyer stuck a deal and Mrs.M was the proud new owner.  Upon asking her why this one as it needed work, she said, ” Its a sports car, and they need to be driven and it will be.  So the things that need replacing will be replaced a lot sooner compared to a garage car anyway.  It just shows it was used for its intended purpose”.

Off we went and needless to say that is a literal statement on her part…..

Time went by and she had notified me the there were some things newly developed on the car (must have been the parts she was looking at in that magazine).  It came with the Blitz Nur-Spec exhaust on top of the engine swap and she added some new tires and wheels so she could get from a to b.  With all the fluid and electric sorted out.  She also claimed a boost controller and intercooler were installed.  Upon doing the intercooler exchange it was discovered a CT20b was installed.  She has managed 288whp on the dyno.  Mrs. M here is to you and your experiences with the Mister Two.
